What if you don't have a fire pump and the system demand is more than what can be flowed out of the main drain (BTW, how do you measure the flow out of the main drain?) We typically spec a 2 1/2" single outlet (size and # of outlets dependent on the system demand), flush-type test connection with male threads piped from the riser with a normally closed control valve. Is that what you are asking??
