NFPA 13 2010: A.11.2.3.2.5 Where extended coverage sprinklers are used and the
design area (after appropriate increases) is satisfied by five sprinklers, no
additional increase is required. This is the annex material to 11.2.3.2.5 Dry
Pipe and Double Interlock Preaction systems under the Density Area method
section of calc procedures. I feel like there's another section pertinent to
the question but that was the one that came to hand.

Subject: EC heads on Dry system

Forum,

I am having a little brain glitch this morning: Can EC heads be used on dry
pipe systems?

Thanks,
