Being that most of the units I've seen are metal but also have seen some that
are plastic, you need to know more about the commodity itself.

Also how is the product stored?
How high are they stacked or racked?
Wood or plastic pallets?
Boxed or crated?
Packing materials?
Building height?

A lot of questions need to be answered before taking any defense posture here.

Subject: Light Manufacturing Classification

Have a new 46K sq. ft. warehouse being utilized for commercial vacuum (car
wash) manufacturing. Building should fall under ORD I. Local authority has
challenged the engineered drawing (state requirement), calling for the
building to be ORD II. This creates some serious issues as you can
imagine. Any thoughts on a 'defense' of the ORD I position?
