We have a pretty healthy dialogue transpiring between ourselves, the EOR and
the AHJ on these issues, but nobody can seem to conclusively agree between
the other two parties on the following issues: Any experience in these area
would be helpful:

1) There are corridors, storage areas and Vending areas on the ground level
and the only proposed separation between these areas and the underside of
the stadium seating is chain link fencing. I have come tot he conclusion
personally that the only relevant 13 reference I can find is 4.1 which
states all areas are to be protected unless specifically excluded.
What have others done?

2) This one has been discussed verbally with someone of consequence on the
forum and it is agreed that this one slips between the cracks...Any
experience here? SOME of the bleachers will require protection underneath
due being deisgnated storage areas. Some of these areas are constructed such
that every 2-6 in horizontal distance there is a concrete tee that drops
vertically approx. 2'-6. The next level of seating then repeats this
scenario at about a 10" elevation change so a head under the centerline of
the tee would put the deflector ok on one side and 2-7 from the deck on the
upper side./ This create the situation in which heads are literally required
in every 2-6 channel running the length of the bleacher due to the depth of
the tees. The allowance in 13 that permits deflectors to be further than 22"
from the deck does not appear to be intended for "tiered" areas like so.

3) This is minor...is there any thing anywhere that requires protection
under non-combustible exterior exit corridors which are 50% open if the area
above them is occupied?

Thanks for any help,
Greg
