I have a project I am bidding on that has an alternate for an entrance "tube"; this is a non-combustible steel "tube" 30'-0 long and 16'-0 wide. The beams are circular and are spaced horizontal to the building entrance door/wall and the skin of the "tube" is perforated aluminum (perforation size is unknown). Can I apply NFPA 13 2007 8.15.7.2 to this scenario?
