A solenoid valve by itself is not listed or approved as a controllong valve for
sprinkler systems. They are listed for fire protection service as a releasing
device for deluge valves used for deluge or preaction applications. It may be
used as such when integrally installed as part of an assembly meeting the
deluge valve laboratory standards.

Subject: Solenoid Detail

Does anybody have a nice detail of a solenoid (pre-action) detail used in
elevator equipment rooms they'd be interested in sharing?

Thanks!
