The only ones I've ever seen are from Viking, but they're also only for
residential systems.

Ken, I have not seen any response to your question so thought I would
offer my opinion, I have seen them used in the past when a second layer
of sheetrock was installed but I don't like using more than one per
head, unless you calc them, I only know of one manufacturer that has a
listed one, brass ones are better, it has to do bad things to the head K
factor.

I have a client that has a cpvc sprinkler system in an office building.
They are removing the existing clg and installing a new one 3" lower.
Can I use 1/2" nipple extenders? If so what is the max length that can
be used? 1"? 3"?
