Yo, Tommy D!

In my collection, the NFPA 13 editions jump from 1958 to 1966 to 1974.

The first time I see calc's are in the 1966 edition. However, that edition
says that there are also editions from 1960,1961,1963,1964 and 1965. Among the
many members of the committee at this time were Jack Wood (Mr. Hydraulic
Calcs), Frank Fee, Jr., Wayne Ault, and Harry Marryatt. The list goes on, but
wow.

Wish I had more to tell. And a big thanks to Jim Melton of Nelson Fire
Protection for donating that edition to the Academy's Library!

It should be recognized that the above is my opinion as a member of the NFPA,
and has not been processed as a formal interpretation in accordance with the
NFPA Regulations Governing Committee Projects and should therefore not be
considered, nor relied upon, as the official position of the the NFPA, nor any
of their technical committees.

Sincerely,

Cecil Bilbo
