As far as the listed hangers go see NFPA 13 2007 - 9.1.1.4 (9.1.3 for
concrete).

Here's the story I got from my Hilti rep: They changed production factories,
so that means they have to resubmit to FM approval with a new manufacturing
location. In the Mid-Atlantic, they supposedly have a 2-year supply from the
old factory, and these are still FM-approved. Eventually the new factory will
gets it FM approval and everything will be fine.

Again, this is from our Hilti rep, so who knows what the deal is since your rep
said something completely different. It sure would be nice to get something in
writing from the company, no?

We looked at switching to the Sammy concrete screws in the interim.
