Existing 16" open web trusses with fire rated sheetrock ceiling on the bottom - plywood on the top. Installing uprights in this space is very simple until you realize that the listed sprinklers required in this space require 1,000 sqft compartmentalization which would be very difficult and expensive.
Does anyone have any related experience with a similar situation?
