NFPA 20: 11.4.2.4 A means shall be provided in the tank for low fuel level signal initiation. 11.4.2.6.2 A fuel level indicator shall be provided to activate at the two-thirds tank level. If I am correct, 11.4.2.6.2 is requiring an indicator to activate when the tank is 1/3 below its capacity, and I assume that this is so they can maintain a minimum amount of fuel at all times (if they react when notified). Wouldn't this also act as the low fuel level signal that 11.4.2.4 is requiring? Thank you, Bobby Gillett Sr. Project Manager Key Fire Protection, Inc.
