When using a product such as linkseal or metraseal is it necessary to install any form of restraint? I haven't found anything on either products data sheet that would point to this. The situation I have is leaving one lower level wall traveling a short distance underground and then penetrating another wall. It looks like the assembly restrains as well as seals, but I'm not certain about this.
