A few things to review:

All electrical components are required to be at least 12" off slab.
Follow manufacturers installation instructions including grouting of the base
plate. Look at the manufacturers dimension drawing provided. It usually
requires 1-1/2" of grout under the bottom of the base.

Be careful or the warranty from the manufacturer is voided.

Subject: Mounting of Fire Pump

Question for the group. Do horizontal fire pumps need to be mounted on a
concrete slab? The reason is I had a pump company send me a report with the
discrepancy that the pump, when tested vibrated laterally due to the fact that
when it was installed they just used a frame bolted to the concrete floor. In
researching NFPA 20 I only find some seismic restrictions. Am I missing
something? Thanks
