Good Afternoon,

Here in Charleston SC we have some old sprinkler systems installed some having
no Fire Department Connections installed, vintage 1940's to 1970's. My
question is when did NFPA 13 first began requiring Fire Department Connections
to be installed on wet-pipe sprinkler systems?

I believe the requirement was always in NFPA 13, but I am having trouble
finding any documentation to support my theory.

Thank you for any assistance anyone can provide and enjoy the weekend.

Sincerely
Daniel S. Failla Jr.
