I am working on a project where they have installed a mezzanine 9 ft off
the
floor. Beneath it will be rooms. The walls will be 18" from the edge of the
mezzanine, creating an overhang. The sprinklers above are 9'-6" from the
top of
the mezzanine. The question is do we sprinkler below the overhang? Based on
8.6.5.1.2 (3), the answer would be yes, but does this apply since the walls
do
not extend to the deck?
