We have a multi-tenant warehouse building, 43,000 ft², it will be divided into 3 tenant spaces of about 14,300 ft² each with loading bays in the rear of the warehouse and allowance for 3,000 ft² of office at the front of each tenant space. The warehouse space will be designed for high pile storage utilizing ESFR sprinkler heads. As the building will be shell coverage the AHJ is saying we require 2 sprinkler zones as we are over 40,000 ft²
We have allowed for 1 sprinkler zone for the building on the assumption the rear of the warehouse is used for loading and unloading with no high storage, there will be future office space up to 3,000 ft², this would allow a system up to 52,000 ft², and we would be 43,000 ft² Any comments or direction that will allow our assumption Thank you James Crawford Phaser Fire Protection Ltd.
