I have a project where ceiling lights is hung from the ceiling. The light is 48" so technically we do not have to sprinkler under it (code requires sprinkler under obstruction more than 4 feet wide), but I am wondering what to be done if this was 49 inches. This light is located more than 4 feet from ceiling slab and putting sprinkler under it is not an option architecturally. Wondering if anyone came across this scenario. P.s. Light is a solid round shape with 48" diameter
