In Late 2015 there was an ASFA Webinar about the changed to NFPA 13 (2016). During that webinar there was a brief discussion about floor controls, and not needing one for feeding a small area on another floor level (i.e. top of stairs on a roof level access). Is there code explaining this exception or is this more up to the AHJ?
