A fire official has asked me for a recommendation on recording (logging) gauges. Anyone have strong feelings about one or another make/model? I don't know what they can afford (it's a big city) but I'm assuming the top of the line digital stuff ($800+) is beyond their budget. The mechanical ones (with a re-settable needle) are affordable, but I don't know if they're durable and accurate? There are LOTS of digital ones but I've never shopped these and don't know one from the other. Your help greatly appreciated.
