It’s a WET system. So, no, I don’t think that’s an option.

But Cecil’s suggestion of using nitrogen to purge the atmospheric air from the 
system and then bleeding off the nitrogen as you fill the system with water 
seems like a reasonable way to do it.

I am not following the question of “how”…

Could you just use 15psi of supervisory nitrogen for the entire system?

I am looking for thoughts on nitrogen corrosion for a wet system that has both 
CPVC and steel pipes. I read most manufacturers only allow air or nitrogen at 
no more than 15 PSI for pre-testing only. So I am wondering how nitrogen 
pressure can be used at all when you have a wet CPVC system?
