“Pretty common setup that has been used over the years”

Nothing against Matthew personally but this type of comment is one of the 
biggest issues with the fire sprinkler industry today. Just because a person or 
even a company has been doing something a certain way for years doesn’t make it 
right. Look at NFPA 13, contracting the equipment manufacturer to verify or 
something such as a structural engineer is the correct way to design/install a 
hanger assembly. Not “this is a pretty common setup”.
