What's going to be going in under the canopy?  How big is it?  Being 
freestanding has no bearing on the sprinkler requirement.

GC is asking if a canopy that is not attached to the building can have 
sprinklers omitted. I swear I saw somewhere if it was a free standing cover it 
didn't need sprinklers but now that I need it I can't find it.
