Hi all, I am also an Emacs user and I agree it would be great to have the capability of assigning arbitrary shortcuts to cursor navigation (and simple editing) to the editor and console. I could not find if David already added an issue to the tracker, so I created one where we can discuss the best approach to implement this improvement. http://code.google.com/p/spyderlib/issues/detail?id=729
