The problem I am having (which may not be the same as Carlos) is that "conda install -c spyder-ide spyder" does not actually install Spyder 3.0: $ conda install -c spyder-ide spyder Fetching package metadata: ...... Solving package specifications: .......................... # All requested packages already installed. # packages in environment at /home/amsta/jitse/scratch/anaconda3: # spyder 2.3.8 py34_0 If I look at https://conda.anaconda.org/spyder-ide/linux-64/ it appears that spyder 3.0 needs Python 3.5, while I have Python version 3.4.3.final.0 (according to "conda info"). So, assuming this is correct, the next question is: how to install Python 3.5? "conda upgrade python" does not do this, and that's the limit of my conda knowledge. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "spyder" group.
