The bank that I use here in the US recently switched to some sort of IBM
computers. I do not know if the GUI is Linux or an IBM *nix of some
sort. It is pretty neat, though. The bank teller isn't even behind a
counter anymore; she/he stands right next to the customer. The teller
doesn't have a money drawer either. Your money comes out of a machine
like the ATM on the outside of the bank. Really hard to rob that bank,
apparently.
