if you work for a salary, this is part of the income of your employer, so why is it so important to you that no share would remain for the employer profit? elixir is already part of a huge social project of sharing knowledge and solutions between people willing to improve and further share. this movement would enable more people access to qualitative technology a lowest prices, so the may even share other resources, even part of their income, with the comunity at large. in my opinion you are already going on the way of contribution to communities you may even not know of already, and making a living on the way is more than respectable. so your own judgement should tell you whether you're doing good or wrong, and not only the profit of the organization. best wishes, -- alex
