It just looks that this pragma won't give me the fields and data types if the table has no rows yet, but was just created. Is this indeed so and if so is there a way round it? I am trying to avoid parsing sqlite_master as I used to do that and using this pragma is a much cleaner way to do this. Thanks for any advice.
