Yet strangely, the command-line tool is one of the best things about SQLite. If I appear to find a bug in a SQLite library I try doing the same thing in the command-line tool. If the behaviour is the same I know my software is correct and I study SQL. If the behaviour is different i know the fault is in my programming or in the way I'm using the API.
