It is a great pleasure to post the detail, and thank you for the kind words, but please note that it is not "my" solution, I simply explained the CSV standard (partly) which in itself offers a real solution to storing and working with csv data if the standard is followed to the letter - something I try to always promote. All credit belonging to the very clever folks who designed it - and the only reason I have any amount of knowledge in this regard is due to very many hopelessly broken designs of my own (and sometimes others) that I had to figure out and fix over the years.

If this helps anyone else save some time/pain it makes my past frustrations a bit more vindicated, or at the very least, a bit less useless, so thank you for that. :)
