You didn't work it out yourself, did you ? 0.2 in binary is 0.0011001100110011... 0.3 in binary is 0.0100110011001100... They both recur at the 1/16th level. 0.7 and 0.8 are, of course, their complements. Only two tenths don't have problems in binary: point zero and point five. Simon.
