When switching from another source to radio station Keizerstad 80's (http://opml.radiotime.com/Tune.ashx?id=s143281&formats=aac,ogg,mp3&partnerId=16&serial=ba802d3baa60dfd83b96600d6d7c3d81) the server (latest LMS 7.9) stalls for a couple of seconds on a laptop with Ubuntu 14.04 up to almost a minute on Arch Linux on a Wandboard.
The server log does not show errors/warnings even with the debug flag. The CPU load of the server process is very high when this happens.
