Back to the title of this thread, I am giving some feedback to interested people. I just installed LMS 7.9.0 (nightly build) on a OSMC system. After OSMC installation, I ssh to the system, downloaded .deb file and installed it via dpkg. All went smooth and LMS seems very stable, for now.
Just for your curiosity, I also installed: - vsftp server - apache2 (+ php5) - squeezelite acting as a "local player", having connected Rpi-1 analog audio output to my stereo amp The last was a bit tricky because I had to enable analog output first and I replaced the squeezelite executable installed by apt-get using a new version, but at the end it is working. Of course I cannot expect boost performances on Rpi-1, but I can say that if I do not stress it too much, it works in an acceptable way. Following are "top" (few lines) and "free" outputs taken while *all* servers were running and a squeeze (remote) player and ssh client were connected. OSMC has different disk images for Raspberry "Pi-1/Zero" and "2/3" so I imagine they are hardware optimized in some way. Anyway thank you very much for all your replies.
