Hi guys, I had pretty the same issue after upfgrading to 7.9.0. Logfile throws the same errors, web-ui isn't available any more etc. Checkking top, squeezeserver ran svereal (10-20) processes which caused haevy load on the system. The only way I coudl handle it, was purging (!) the LMS and downgrading to 7.8.1 again like: - stopping server - killing all processes - reboot without squeezeserver - purge the server with "sudo apt-get remove --purge logitechmediaserver" - remove manually "/var/lib/squeezeboxserver" as it was blocked for some kind of reason. - then reinstall 7.8.1
Just removing 7.9.0 and reinstalling 7.8.1 did NOT work - same problem. So be sure to completely deinstall all files. So far so good, up and running again without trouble. I haven't activated any other then the default plugins jet. On the broken system I ran the 3rd part spotify-plugin from Triode and the Shairport2 plugin from disaster123. I run a ubuntu 16.4 LTS system, my cllients are three raspberrries with squeezelite on rasbian jessie. I will fiddle about the plugins and let you know. Cheers!
