@atrocity 100k tracks is not a huge library. With such a complicated setup, shell out a few bucks to get a bunch of Raspberry Pi 3s to run your servers on and use LMS 7.9 and download times when switching will be down to a few seconds. I switch libraries a lot with around 50k tracks and that takes around 20s to load. The only case where iPeng should have an impact on playback really is if you have an incredibly slow server or you need to re-create artwork thumbnails all the time. LMS 7.8 or 7.9 should fix the latter. Apart from that itÂ’s actually not that much data iPeng reads: the lists of albums, artists, genres and playlists and two pages full of artwork thumbnails.
