I clearly understand your point of view and to be honest I expected this answer :D May be the checkbox can be provided with a big warning when it is activated and with an url link to the lms documentation which explain and resume information which is in this topic ? I'm not running lms in a docker but I saw some dockers sources for lms, I 'll be curious to see the behaviour of lms security in this kind of environnement...
