I have two suggestions:
First, install the EDO applet on the Squeezebox Touch and connect it to the usb input on the amplifier. This may work or it may not. Second, consider a small form computer (rpi4b) install Squeezelite or piCoreplayer and use the usb between the pi and amplifier.
