Correcting myself. Normal players can only connect using IP address but stream.mp3 could use a host name - so yes you could use ngrok to create two tunnels (9000 & 3843) and then use 2 browser windows, one for control and the other to play stream.mp3 although it isn't ideal. Now I am wondering whether a Squeezelite player would accept a hostname but I think not.
