Just to add to this story and to ensure that dolodobendan's case is not a single one: I had similar experience like dolodobendan from time to time. I have some of the big plugins in my plugin list, such as Philippes excellent UPNP, Chromecast and Airplay plugins. I couldn't reproduce the issue but I had the feeling that not pressing the restart now button immediately but ignoring it for some time helped, thus I adapted my behavior without questioning it... Platform: Raspberrry Pi, Max2Play setup with many plugins, Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.3 - 1588164984 @ Thu Apr 30 04:15:49 CEST 2020
I am a very enthusiastic supporter of the LMS platform, however I think that repositories and plugin-updates might be a little bit unstable, especially if you have many repositories added. I realized when some repositories are not responding or are very slow that: 1) I had the same issue like the original poster and 2) this could also have side effects, for example affecting the patch installer (no patches found for devices), some other users also reported that you need to be patient with the patch installer (which might hint into the same direction....) For the patch installer removing non-responding repositories temporarily helped, but this is not an ideal solution... Cheers, Frank dolodobendan wrote: > You're probably right.
