Yes the update routine, is changed a bit. The same for the upgrade routine. Removed some old stuff, and made some things smaller.
But still everything depenps on the work load of youÅe QNap Nas-System. With several thing running in the backGround like Plex,Sabnzbd, lidarr and more, some times ot can take longer. First if LMS is installed, will check for example from 9.0.0 down to 8.0.0., Nightly from 9.0 untill 8.0. Big change in this release, all is done in the memory. On upgraded first it will do a check on the tar file if its not corrupted.
