Actually, this is all very odd...... I've just looked in SETTINGS>PLAYER and there's now an ADDITIONAL BROWSE MODES option, which *does* allow the LMS Home Menu to be customized..... And I see that this option in in fact an optional Plugin - maybe I had just never activated it in previous installations! Let's hope I'm finally "all set"!
