Ah, ok. Most likely this is a timing issue I only fixed in 7.9+: Once you get the prompt to restart LMS, wait another minute or two before you restart. Larger plugins sometimes take a bit longer than LMS thinks, and consequently LMS prompts for a restart before it's actually done downloading the file.
