you know, it's funny (not ha ha) but now that you mentioned what is happening to you, it made me realize that default players may be auto switching on me, and I never realized it. I'll be using one of the web ui's or even perhaps squeezecntrl, and listening to a player, say my touch in the living room, and shut down for the night. Next morning, launch the UI, wonder why the touch isn't playing, and realize I am playing the boom which is in another room. I never thought much of it (other than annoyance) until you mention it. In my current location (cabin), all sb's are connected wirelessly, so perhaps It doesn't happen here (?). I'll try today. At my home setup I have both wireless and ethernet. One last observation. The default player selection seems to be local to the UI, or, LMS recognizes multiple UI's as being different. That is, I can select a default player for standard, material, and squeezecntrl that are different and the switch does not affect the other.
