It's been a couple of hours now with no automatic scans, so turning off
the library integration option for Deezer has solved my issue.

Can you please confirm that a.) you had the Deezer plugin installed, and b.) you didn't have the Deezer app configured on mysb.com, yet LMS would have used it? That sounds like a but I should have found before I released 8.0.0 :-(
