I'm experiencing some strange behaviour that started when I upgraded to 8.0.0. It seems to be automatically doing a scan of my library once per hour. But it's not a full scan. The results look like this:
Hmm... would you be using an online streaming service? Is the Online Library integration enabled (see Settings/Advanced)?
