I installed LMS 8.0.0 yesterday, and ever since, it rescans my music library about once an hour. This seems to be new behavior.
The scans are brief. The "Details" on the Info page list only "Building full text index," "Pre-caching Artwork," and "Database Optimize." The scan takes about a minute. But why does it do it at all?
