I'm running a Linksys WRT54G Wireless router firmware v3.01.3 The wireless is mixed B/G on chan 9 with WPA TKIP key.
My DSL modem is plugged into the WAN port on the router. The modem looks unbranded, ADSL model CT-507. The computers are hard wired to the router. After the firmware update I have a terrible time getting the SB to log on to the wireless LAN, just to acceess SS. The boxes are in the same room only 20' apart. Sometimes it logs on in a few seconds, sometimes it won't for hours. It also loses the connection frequently. I hard wired the SB to the router with a cable in the ethernet port. Now it logs onto SS fine. I can disconnect and reconnect and it logs back in within a few seconds. The SB has access to SS and can play everything on the hard drive. It also has internet access because it can play internet radio. My Desktop, where SS is running, can access the SN via SoftSqueeze (2.7) just fine. I am in Japan. I thought that might be an issue, but SoftSqueeze works fine. And the SB accessed the SN just fine prior to the firmware update.
