Ok I would try to set the DNS to whatever DNS your ISP is providing, I
had trouble with my netgear router, the consumer models are notoriously
flaky rgrds DNS, I had the situation when i used DHCP but the Netgear
would not give any DNS to the attached devices, Therefore i use fixed
ip's now.
