I think of myself as a choosy listener. I buy cd's for the quality of their sound recording as much as anything. I sometimes play a cd at the same time as the Rhapsody version via the Duet and then toggle back and forth between the two. The decibel level is never an exact match, so the comparison isn't perfect. But overall I can't identify much of a difference in sound quality. I still use my cd player for cd's, but it's great to have access to music via Rhapsody and the Duet. The Duet also provides a better way to access local public radio than the stereo receiver.
