Hi, just thought of another question prior to purchase.(Squeezebox 3
Classic)

The motherboard I plan to use DOESN'T have Gigabit Ethernet built in
and I wonder if Squeezeserver (latest version) and indeed the whole
"Squeezebox experience" can run properly on a non Gigabit Ethernet
connection.

Server Specs:
Core 2 Duo processor
2GB Ram
Sata 2 HDD (Internal)
Running stripped bare XP or Ubuntnu

I've a couple of questions if thats ok?

1)
I can either plug my Router directly into my Server PC or use a
wireless connection and have teh PC in a cupboard somewhere.
Q: Would having a "non-gigabit" connection compromise in any way the
"Squeexebox experience" if I connected the router and Server PC
wirelessly ? (I'm using fully tagged FLAC files with album art etc.)

2)
The SB3 itself would always be connected wirelessly to the server
(Theres no option to use it directly wired, I dont want a PC in the
living room).
Q: Is there any problems using it this way with a non-Gigabit Ethernet
connection?

Thanks for any repies....just trying to work out if I need to add the
cost of a Gigabit NIC to my PC build spec.

Ta.

G.
