Hi all, I am enjoying my new Squeezebox Classic very much but have noticed a strange problem. When i am using the internet radio (connected to Squeezecentre or Squeezenetwork) and the phone rings, when I answer it the squeezebox goes blank and no music is heard. When I hang up the phone after short while the squeezebox screen comes back on with the music stopped.
I have a cordless phone (about 5 years old) that sits on the other side of the all where the squeezebox is. The Squeezebox is connected via ethernet to my wireless router and the laptop (where Squeezecentre is installed) is sometimes used wirelessly but i tested it with it being conected via ethernet to the router to eliminate any wireless interference. I can think of only 2 possible causes: 1) the in-line filter between the wall socket and phone is not good enough 2) the wireless/cordless phone is interfering somehow even though the Squeezebox is hardwired to router What would be most likely? I'll have to get my hands on a non-cordless phone to see if it makes a difference.
